If you would like your child to have a nasal flu vaccination in school call into the office and pick up a
form. If you’re not sure if you have already filled one in ask Mrs Walters. The vaccines will take place
in school on Wednesday, 9th November.
The Chief Medical Officer at the Department for Health says – ‘Not only does the flu vaccine help to
protect the children themselves, but by reducing the spread of flu it will also help protect family
members and others in the community. The flu vaccine also promotes a healthy working environment
in nurseries and preschools by reducing the risk of spread of flu to others.’
