Content can be graphic, and include images of significant harm, abduction and foul language.

We are  aware of a current video/cartoon available online called ‘Cat Nap’ which is NOT age-appropriate for children and includes content that is traumatic, including references to harm and the use of foul language.

This cartoon appears innocent at first glance but it may lead to some children being fearful, traumatised and mimicking/displaying behaviours seen .

Parents and carers are advised to be cautious of unmonitored viewing of this cartoon. Parents and carers are also reminded that unmonitored access to tablets and online devices places children at significant risk.

It is worth noting: the nature of cartoons has changed. We no longer live in an era where cartoons are for children and the content, whilst seemingly innocent, is often graphic and inappropriate.
